This popularity is also reflected in the sales figures. A total of 2,674,841 copies were produced, of which 199,517 were T-model station wagons and 99,884 were coupes.
The following model variants were offered to buyers: 200 D (55/60 hp), 220D (60 hp), 240D (65/72 hp), 300D (80/88 hp), 300D turbo-Diesels (121/125 hp), 200 (94 hp), 200 M102 (109 hp), 230 (109 hp), 230E (136 hp), 250 (129/140 hp), 280 (156 hp) and 280E (177/185 hp).
