This is a Broadway Limited 680 HO Scale New York Central Paragon Series EMD Diesel E7B Powered – Assembled with Quantum Sound #4100. For long and heavy trains, additional power was often needed. While many roads used matching A units coupled back-to-back, some also purchased cabless booster units to provide a snappy, uniform appearance. Prepainted in authentic colors to match specific A Units (sold separately), models are available powered with Sound, or as unpowered models.
