This is a Peco R-3 HO Magni-Simplex Auto Coupler MkIII with screw. A superb auto coupling designed for magnetic operation using the special Uncoupler SL-32. It will couple with the original Simplex Auto Coupling (R-2) and still retains the feature that allows a vehicle to be lifted straight from a train without causing derailment. It also facilitates delayed uncoupling, so that a vehicle can be propelled along the track and left in any desired position. The Magni-Simplex can be fitted to other makes of rolling stock besides Peco. Supplied complete with spring, screw and adaptor moulding.
